Amanda Seyfried was born in Allentown, Pennsylvania, in a middle class family. She modeled as a kid, and had her breakthrough role in the 2004 film Mean Girls. Since then, Seyfried has been in movies like Mamma Mia and Ted 2, becoming one of the biggest female actors in the world.
Seyfried has dealt with anxiety during her early life and even during her acting career. As a teen, she had to see a psychiatrist to help deal with panic attacks due to her OCD. She continues to deal with her anxiety, but she has not let it stop her from getting to where she is today.
Seyfried is also an advocate for treatment of anxiety. She has posted on social media about her struggles, and also talked about the medication and other treatments she got helped her so much. Seyfried continues to be a great role model and advocate for everybody dealing with anxiety.
