Bruce Springsteen

Bruce Springsteen was born in Long Branch, New Jersey, to a lower-middle class family. He was inspired by The Beatles to get into music, and had his breakthrough album in 1975 with Born to Run. He has won 20 Grammys, sold over 150 million records, and is generally regarded as one of the greatest musicians ever.

During his life, Springsteen has dealt with depression. During his career, he would deal with long bouts of depression, lasting years sometimes, and would deal with self loathing and anxiety. Springsteen was able to overcome these struggles with depression, and still be a very successful musician.

Springsteen has been open about his mental health, talking with different news outlets about his struggles, and encouraging people dealing with struggles to find help, and showing them they’re not alone. He is a great role model and inspiration to all those who are struggling with depression.
