Kate Middleton

Kate Middleton was born in Reading, England, in 1982. She grew up in a middle class family, and attended St. Andrew’s college. While studying there, she met Prince William. Nearly 10 years later, the 2 would get married. Today, Middleton is a part of the Royal Family, and is one of the world’s leading philanthropists.

However, when Middleton was a child, she was bullied. While attending the all girls Downe School, Middleton was picked on for being too “gangly,” and other students would often tease her for her frame. This made Middleton’s time in school very unpleasant, and she often felt isolated. Eventually, she left the school. However, she worked her way through the struggle, and made it to where she is today.

Today, along with being a Duchess and a public figure, Middleton is an advocate for different groups across the world. She has spoken out about her experiences being bullied, and talked about how important it is to foster loving, caring communities.
