Chris Bosh was born in Dallas, Texas, in a middle class family. He started playing basketball as a kid, and eventually earned a scholarship to Georgia Tech. After playing in college, he was drafted, and during his NBA career he was an 11 time all star and a 2 time NBA champion.
During his childhood, Bosh dealt with bullying. He was bullied for being skinny, and for the way he talked. People pushed him around, and called him names, but he didn’t let them affect him, and still decided he would work hard and achieve his dream of playing in the NBA.
Bosh has been a great advocate, talking about his experiences being bullied, and how he overcame them. He is a great role model, and an inspiration who showed that you can overcome bullying and be successful.
